Background

Under the aegis of the North Sea Hydrographic Commission, a workshop on marine sandwave dynamics was held in Lille (France) in 2000. Following the success of this workshop, a second workshop will be held in Enschede (the Netherlands) in April 2004, broadening its scope to sandwave and river dune dynamics. The workshop Marine Sandwave and River Dune Dynamics II is organised by the University of Twente and the French Naval Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service (SHOM).
